FAQs?

What is the cancellation policy for private classes?

Students may cancel or reschedule a lesson up to 24 hours before the scheduled class time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson, or failure to attend the class, are not eligible for a make-up lesson or refund.

If the teacher needs to cancel a scheduled lesson for any reason, the lesson will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time, and a make-up class will be provided at no additional cost.

What is the cancellation policy for group classes?

Students who miss a group class are not eligible for a make-up lesson or refund. Classes are recorded, so they are encouraged to listen to the class they missed.

If the teacher needs to cancel class in case of emergency, the lesson will be rescheduled and a make-up class will be scheduled at no additional cost.

What is the withdrawal policy?

Students who wish to withdraw from a course must notify the academy in writing before the withdrawal deadline. Refund eligibility, if any, will depend on the timing of the withdrawal and the amount of instruction already received. After the withdrawal deadline has passed, tuition and fees may be non-refundable.

What about Tajweed classes during menstruation?

In this respect, we follow the Maliki position which allows teachers and students of Tajweed to recite during menstruation. This position is commonly adopted at Qur'an institutes as it doesn't disrupt classes and ensures consistency in the learning process.

Are there free trial lessons?

Free trial lessons are given in Arabic and Tajweed courses upon request.

How do we stay in touch with the teacher between classes?

Each group course has its own WhatsApp or Telegram group for important communication from the teacher. The teacher may also use the group chat to share resources, answer questions and share the zoom link to the class (it will also be sent by email).

Are the classes recorded?

Yes, classes are recorded.
