Our Curriculum

Arabic is offered one-on-one at every level, from playful foundational sessions for young girls to intermediate and advanced study for teens and women. Students may choose between a Modern Standard Arabic track using the Arabic bayn-yadayk curriculum or a Classical Arabic track covering grammar and morphology, ensuring the program serves both those seeking communicative fluency and those pursuing deep engagement with Islamic texts.

Our Tajweed program takes students from their very first encounter with Qur'anic letters all the way through to ijazah certification and Hifz. Younger girls begin with the Qa'idah Nuraniyyah method, which our teachers modify as per the student's aptitude, in an engaging setting, progressing to Juz Amma recitation with applied Tajweed rules. Older students and women benefit from individualized pathways to full certification, a flexible revision circle to maintain memorization, a free weekly class in theoretical Tajweed, and a live group Quran recitation circle with teacher correction.

Our Fiqh program is specially designed with age grouping in mind; from the earliest years through to advanced study for women. Children learn wudu and salah through play and demonstration, while preteens are introduced to the concept of validity in worship, and the changes of adolescence in an age-appropriate way. Teens and women study the rules of purification, prayer, menses, and lochia in increasing depth, and are provided with the opportunity to study courses on everyday halal and haram, zakat, hajj and umrah, marriage and divorce, inheritance, funerals, and oaths.

Islamic belief is taught across all age groups, beginning with nurturing conversations about Allah and the Prophets for young girls, through a structured study of Monotheism, Angels, Books, Messengers, and Destiny for preteens, teens, and women, and culminating in an advanced course for women that engages classical texts and examines Islamic theological positions and sects.

This subject nurtures the inner and outer character of every student. Young girls learn adab and akhlaq through storytelling and roleplay and memorize daily duʾas through songs and actions. Preteens explore manners and the states of the heart through discussion and real-life scenarios. Teens and women pursue a deeper study of the sins of the tongue and the diseases and virtuous states of the heart, drawing on classical Islamic guidance for self-development and spiritual growth.

The life of the Prophet, peace be upon him, is introduced to young girls through illustrated storytelling, and explored chronologically with reflection for preteens and teens. Across all levels, students are inspired by the biographies of the Sahabah, Islamic scholars, and notable women in Islamic history, while older students are also introduced to the science of hadith and how it has been preserved and understood.

This subject equips students to thrive as confident Muslim women in the modern world. Teens have a safe space to navigate identity, friendships, and faith, alongside creative arts and a book club. Teens develop practical life skills — from financial literacy to public speaking — and engage with digital wellbeing through free seminars. Women are supported through workshops and seminars on productivity, spirituality, and married life, a book club, and a free monthly parenting seminar drawing on Qur'anic and Sunnah guidance.
