Puberty & Menstruation
Growing up brings many physical and spiritual changes, and every Muslim girl is required to learn the rulings that become personally obligatory (fard ’ayn) once she reaches puberty.
This interactive course introduces girls to the basics of Islamic legal responsibility, the changes that occur during puberty, and the essential rulings of menstruation according to the Hanafi school.
Girls learn how to correctly identify menstrual blood, count their days, distinguish between different types of discharge, and understand how menstruation affects acts of worship. They will also learn the importance of seeking beneficial knowledge, strengthen their relationship with Allah through the Hadith of Jibril, and develop confidence in discussing topics that every Muslim woman needs to know.
Classes are discussion-based and highly interactive. Lessons include stories, guided questions, practical examples, charts, and case studies to help students apply the rulings to real-life situations.
