The Seerah Circle

The Seerah Circle is a hands-on course designed to help students gain a clear overview of the chronology of the Seerah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

Students will learn to understand the major phases of the Prophet’s life, recognize the sequence of key events, and develop methods for organizing and remembering the flow of the Seerah through visual and mnemonic tools. 

By the end of the course, students should be able to explain the broad structure of the Seerah and present its major periods with confidence.

Course Outline

Lesson 1: Introductions; brainstorming of pre-knowledge from student; categorizing the events; set up for making the circle

Lesson 2: Dividing the seerah circle; review of previous class; first quadrant event

Lesson 3: Review of first quadrant; second quadrant events

Lesson 4: Review of first and second quadrant; third quadrant events

Lesson 5: Review of first, second and third quadrant; fourth quadrant events

Lesson 6: Review of complete circle; completing the circle
